Man, I’ve been really down and tired lately..I’m not quite sure why exactly though..but today I heard “Your grace is enough” by Chris Tomlin and that really made things better..JC rocks as always!

Been wanting to blog about this in a while and will go into detail later. But I’ve been using Ubuntu (its a linux based operating system. Its open source and so its completely free and supported by the community.) and its awesome! It took a long while to get used to and alot of tweaking to get the themes and all right. The Mac OS is actually also based on Linux so I tried to get it to look sort of Mac-ish lah…The best thing is that there is no such things as an anti virus…Hehe I’ve also got a Hackintosh installed at home…thats a Mac Os-x installed into a normal PC!! See I’m finally blogging about IT stuff! Muahaha

My Ubuntu's Desktop!

Happy new year everyone! It’s been a while I know and alot has happened. The new contemporary service in TMC ( 4th service and 2nd service merged) is great! Somehow I really like it and am really encouraged. I think I must be getting old also lah…If you were to ask me 3 years ago about what kind of service I’d like to be a part of I would probably have described something really loud, youth-y and charismatic…but God has really taught me over the years that its not just about the music or even the service..it really is about Him…and as long as the focus and desire is right, it doesn’t quite matter how the service is…I do still very much prefer a contemporary kind of service though of course….its just that my definition of “contemporary” has sort of changed I suppose…it has been a long journey for the PWMT though but truly God is faithful! I truly thank God for all of you in PW..its been an absolute joy serving with you guys! I guess one of the best parts is that I finally feel that the P&W service is part of the whole church, instead of sort of being left to run on its own.

We’ve got lots of new people serving, and its truly really encouraging! The congregation has been about 300+ for the past 2 weeks..its really not about the numbers of course….but its nice nonetheless…praise God for that!

BersatUnite was great too…it was quite an experience for some of us…the word that really came to me that night was “surrender”. I think as musicians we naturally worry too much about the music, and whether or not the mix is nice..stuff like that…I’m not gonna lie…..all serious musicians want to be great..and even aim to impress people with their playing sometimes…but its really about how we surrender all that to Him, to rely on His strength to humble us and to just want to worship Him with everything that we got…so yeah “surrender!” Juwita’s band was great though and its nice to see her leading worship!
