I Just read something I thought was really funny. You have to know Spinal Tap to get it though-

YLDP 09!

Here I am on my first day back at work since YLDP reminiscing about YLDP. I can’t even begin to describe what an experience it was. I truly thank God and am humbled that He would let me be a part of something like that…..YQ and the last 2 YLDPs were amazing as well of course, but this particular one was really different for me…I think I was going into it more dry than I hoped, and especially tired and drained (my brother’s wedding was the weekend before, which meant the return of taxi driver Han How..:D..but I had a blast seeing all my relatives and am really happy for my brother and my new sister in law!)…but I think God really worked in me in a way that I really needed…It was a really different experience for me…truly humbling and i feel like my eyes have been opened again!

I was reminded of many things throughout camp….and realized many things too….even about what it truly means to be in a Worship Team….I think God was really moving and doing His work in many of us throughout the camp…wrestling with the sinner’s hearts as the song goes..hahaha

Of course, I had great fun with the Traccers and all the helpers…..the John Mayer wannabe sessions were fun! I will work on it and next year we continue! hahaha Love you guys and may we continue to put God first in everything we do and perhaps God willing one day we can go on to do even greater things for Him!!

To the worship teams that served during camp, praise God for all of you and do continue to shine for Him!

To the Trinity PJ Youths…lets all continue to pray for our church and MYF and just continue to be faithful because our Hope and our Strength is in Him…

More Garageband!

YLDP practices are over, and I really had YLDP blues after the last practice! Haha it was truly a refreshing weekend…although super tiring of course! But I know it was God who brought us together and He is really the gel that binds us together May we always always always seek to worship and glorify Him first in all that we do!!

I feel like its my responsibility to embarrass the band by posting our masterpiece on my blog. It can also be found on I-Wacha-Tunes where they will pay you Rm1 to download the song….

I also recorded something happier (since ppl say my music very emo!) …tried layering different tracks with Garageband…timing still dodgy though…..probably should have inserted a drum loop first, which I just learned how to do!

Garageband and Relics!

Garageband (Apple’s Recording Software) rocks my socks! What I really like about it is its user friendliness compared to some of the other recording software that I’ve tried…and so with my new but beaten up Fender Road Worn Strat I attempted to record something for the first time with Garageband. Used my PC keyboard for the drum parts ( or more like backstreet boy style loop like Abi says ) and uhhh piano part? (actually 3 notes over and over…Lyd would be proud!! ..actually she heard it and she looked quite disgusted…she was laughing pretty hard too after she got over her disgust…but i shall persevere..soon i shall be able to play more than 3 notes on the piano..)
